Good questions. I got tired of buying expensive ultrasonic cleaners that didn’t last long, so I bought the large ultrasonic from Harbor Freight and it works just as good at a fraction of the price. As far as 10k over 14k, buy the 10k. They are both going to break but at least you won’t have as much money invested in the 10k as the 14k. The only thing worse than a hollow rope chain is a flat herringbone.

The 14k “bending” will result in deformed links that will kink and not lay right.

@@A22LS wow I”m surprised you replied sooo quickly! I really appreciate it. I’ll go for the 10K then for sure. I already have solid jewelry, but wanted to get a hollow one that I’d wear quite rarely. And so do you think the hollow chain will be safe in the ultrasonic cleaner?

@MrsJamiChandler yes it should be fine. Use a mild cleaner solution in the sonic and be careful to coil it in the cleaner gently. Keeping them clean will greatly increase the life of hollow rope chains. Don’t let them soak for hours/days and always rinse them well after cleaning.

Thanks! It’s on a boom mounted to the wing strut. I need to do a video on how it’s mounted since my airplane has a single tube strut. All components came from Flight Flix and are extremely well built. In fact, they are FAA approved. I wouldn’t want to hang a $500 camera out there on the boom that came with the camera for sure.

@@A22LS You are right! This airplane is awesome and perfect and you are probably never going to let it go. I understand that part 100%. My desire is to buy a used A22LS not a new one. Do you happen to know if the they also sell used?

@teodorocano1967 they don’t come around very often but you can find them. Look up Aeroprakt USA online. Also if you’re on FB look up a guy named Dennis Long. He’s a dealer here in Arkansas and just retired as the North America importer.

Fairly sure I’ve never been a blip on Cleeter’s radar screen. Although I did meet him a time or two at the next years event here at Byrd’s where he competed in his Carbon Cub and won his class.

@@A22LS i used to live really close to Ouachita, I have several neighbors up here with private landing strips, trying to convince one of them to take me up and show me the lake lol.

@captainkhakis9826 I’m in a constant search to find the right acreage to build a house and an airstrip on. We can get our Aeroprakt light sport in and out of 2500’ easily and could do it in half that in the right conditions. I’m tired of airport politics here in Hot Springs.

@@A22LS I have a 607 acre farm in Poinsett County, unfortunately its an active farm and would be a pretty big project to build a strip there. My uncle's used to land crop dusters and tail draggers on the roads when I was younger there. There's alot of land for sale up here near me currently. You can probably Google "Hand Cove/Diamond Bay land for sale" and find something

This guy is an extremely experienced bush pilot and was flying a competition on a closed course. He was fully in control and made it look crazy easy, but it isn’t. Energy management is a finely honed skill.

We knew the original owner of this airplane who ordered it to his specs and I love it exactly as it is. That being said, if I were going to order a new one, I’d absolutely, 100%, get the full Dynon glass with autopilot. Pull the trigger on one, I can’t recommend them enough. Solid built airplane.

Thank you! The lever on the Y stick is the brakes. The Aeroprakt doesn’t have differential braking like most aircraft with toe brakes. Squeeze that lever and both are applied evenly.

I’ve not flown a Vixen yet although I do have a friend that owns one. The Vixen being a bit more aerodynamic and slightly faster has a tendency from what I hear, to not shes altitude very quickly. I wanted the A22LS for it’s short field and soft field handling. Having said that, I’m gonna get up in my buddy’s A32 soon and check it out.
